My euro trip
Day 1 (SG to FRA):
its flight to frankfurt. reached there at their local time ard 8+pm. checked in hotel and rest. there's nth to see outside the hotel and we were all tired frm the long flight. 12.5hrs leh. my longest flight ever. watched 3 movies - slumdog millionaire, chicken smth (i forgot the title) and another show which i dun even rem the title. slp and eat and toilet for the rest of the time. i nv really catch any slp on the plane cos i dun have the habit to slp in the noon. timing is so weird.
we reached frankfurt in the night but the sun was still glaring shit. it's almost like the afternoon sun lo. its becos it's 日长夜短 over there.
hotel was small but not bad. rested v late....
Day 2 (Still at Germany):
we went to rothenberg town. on the way, we stopped by for toilet break. toilet per entry costs 50euro!!! which is roughly SGD1+. damn ex rite.
rothenberg is a pretty place. very different from sg. small small houses and shops there. took many many photos there. photos look like postcards. the sky was in a very beautiful tone of blue. =)
later we went to visit the gothic cathedral. there wasnt any cleaning, thats y the whole cathedral is black in color. but it looks grand. very big, v tall. thats day 2.
Day 3 (Germany to Holland):
saw many windmills and we noe we have arrived holland, amsterdam. its well known for the clogs, cheese, windmills and tulips. we had fish and chips. that is our onli western food that they brought us to. and we had to pay for it as an optional tour in the village lo. the fish was normal la. but the 'kan dang' was really good. hahaha..
after that, we went to amsterdam red light district. no photography are allowed there. and ppl there cannot joke and laugh among ourselves cos the gals may think the ppl r laughing at them. its really an eye opener. the gals had individual small rooms, with glass doors. and they are dressed skimpily in bikini/bra tops and g-strings. really v revealing la. and there was this gal who kept jumping up and down to show ppl how her boobs 'jump'. they look fake anyway. she pulled down her g-string jus nice to cover up her private part. she looks disgusting.
anyway, dun tink the gals there are sexy and pretty la. maybe there are a couple of them who look not bad. but the rest are really cmi lo. most of them are old women. some can even be my granny!!! can u imagine how disgusting that is. yucks!
Day 4 (Still at Amsterdam):
went to see how wooden clogs are made, how cheese are made. visited the diamond factory. diamonds are so pretty lo. *bling bling*
had a canal cruise on a glass-dome boat.
Day 5 (heading to Belgium, brussels):
explored the Grand Place with its gold gilded Guild Houses. visited the Mannekin Pis and bought belgium chocolates for frenz. =)
Day 6 (off to Paris~):
we went to the eiffel tower. 2nd level. damn high la. we can see a huge part of france frm there. there was super long queue at the eiffel tower lo. scary.
also went to Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Place de la Concord and The Invalids. photos sld be in my fb when i upload them. hehe.
oh btw, the sky onli starts to darken after 10pm. so most of the pics looks like the day time.
but this day, we came out specially at nite to take pics of the nite scenery. went to the louvre museum but it was closed. onli took pics outside. took pics of the nite view of the eiffel tower and notre dame.
Day 7 (still in Paris):
free day for us. and its shopping day!!!! My fav day of the trip. hahaha. the tour leader brought us to lafayette. a shopping centre that sells alot of branded stuffs. but i so suay. cldnt get anything there. had to go to champs elysees to get my stuffs. walked a great distance to find my stuffs and my frens'. saw the largest LV store. 7 storey.
at nite, we went mont marte where u can find alot of artists. and there was this beautiful church at the v high end of mont marte.
Thats the day where our passports almost got stolen in the metro(mrt) by 3 young gals. heng...
Day 8 (to london):
took eurostar to london. its abt 2hr+.
saw the london eye, the buckingham palace. nth much on this day.
there was the underground strike from 7pm. we cldnt do much.
Day 9 (in london):
Its free day again. strike continues. went to madame tussauds, the wax museum via bus. some of them looked really v real wor. not bad not bad. hee. anyway i dunno many of the ppl cos they are ang mohs. hahaha.
after that, we had a ride in the london eye.
also visited harrods. the shopping centre owned by princess diana's bf, i tink. or maybe the father. i dunno. haha.
Day 10(london):
buckingham palace to take pics again. to the british museum cos we happened to pass by.
at nite, we watched a musical play - Grease. super nice. ang mohs are so high when watching plays lo. the play is damn nice la. i like. =)
Day 11 (london to sg):
still had time in the day. went to the london bridge which was very far away frm our hotel. haha. but tat was our onli destination for that day. took pics, came back for nice fish and chips den to heathrow airport. and the taxi to the airport costs us abt SGD$200+. =.="
Day 12:
arrive sg.
