im retrenched!
im officially jobless now. have been retrenched. (retrenched sounds better than sacked.)
received several missed calls ytd. didnt pick up the calls cos i was watching Avatar. and oso becos the numbers are unknown numbers. actually the numbers looked familar la. and i sorta guessed where its frm. but i jus dun like answering calls frm ppl not in my phonebook. hahaha... im onli ABIT dao la.
den when we were having dinner, 豆豆 received a call frm pat. officially informing her abt the news. i received the same call after awhile. but did not pick up. i really missed it la. but i called back after awhile. so is it equivalent to me being the one who quit, and not being retrenched? lol.. anyway pat informed us that danny liew said that all partimers need not go back to work anymore. how can they dun wan me, such a HARDWORKING worker? although i like to go as and when i like, always msning, always playing games during work, but im still hardworking okie...
so the company is closing down soon? even the sales and tm dept are closed down suddenly. hai~ and i tot the economy is picking up aldy. is it really that bad?
i got retrenched. im still so young... i lost my income aldy...
who wanna 养我?
lol... but i dun tink i'll be finding another job at the moment. at least wait till WIL2 is over. and see if my coming sem is bz anot lo....
im goin to be so poor aldy lo. =(
anyway ytd was pjt meeting. met at heeren mac. split the tasks and we're done. fast and efficient. lunched at thai express cos i have the 1 for 1 coupon. and nadia got citybank card. we got free desserts.
pam went to work and nadia went to prada to see a bag. 豆豆 acc me to shop for xmas pressies..
and den we went to watch Avatar. the theatre was full hse lo. and the china guy sitting in front of me sat so straight. i cant see. ~.~"
i have to sit very very very straight and keep moving my head in order to catch the subtitles. i turn left, i cannot see the right, i turn right, i cannot see the left. i tink the person sitting me muz be frustrated lo. my neck almost broke after the movie.
the F21 at 313 was big lo.... so nice.. good time for shopping when im retrenched. =)
dinner at orchard central.
after dinner, we took the very very very long escalator to the roof garden. damn scary la....
roof garden is soooooo dark at nite. now i prefer the day view.
took alot photos there. lol.... testing my camera. dunno wat mode to use la... gave up.
went to have desserts and la teh....
comfortable.... relaxing....
and it rained.
cabbed home.
and becos im retrenched, im home today doing nth much. wanna try doing WIL2. my notes are beside me but i've not read a single word frm it. good.... =)
i shall relax today.
tmr will be an exciting day cos im goin to little india~ hahaha... hope it'll not be too scary~
